We're BAAAAAAACK Year 4 takes us to Pittsburgh for a Pirates game or 2 and some Iron City all around !! Should be a moderately priced trip as compared to the past few years, so we are hoping to increase the roster in 2010!! Date: Thursday July 15 - Sunday July 18, 2010
<<<<see Year Four page>>>> Welcome to The Guy's Weekend gentlemen!! We know your wife tells you what to do, when to do it, and for how long. But not on The Guy's Weekend she doesn't. You can be as much MAN as you think you can. You can do it.....we can help. You found it, the official Guy's Weekend web site. We have decided to take on the task of organizing one of these every year for the next few decades. Here's the premise - 30 baseball teams in 28 or so cities. Each year we will randomly pick the city for the following year's event, determine a good weekend, invite our friends, and figure it out from there. There will be several activities each year: brewery tours, golf outing, poker tourney, as well as at least 2 Major League Baseball games. Probably some "who's more manly" contests as well. We'll put the agenda together, you'll decide which activities you want to attend. It is the primary agenda of this group to give our friends and us a true "Guy's Weekend" each year, a retreat away from our normal lives filled with jobs, mortgages, dirty diapers, or whatever else that might be dragging you down. You'll be able to count on this trip each and every year. Lets get this out of the way now, Dave and JC are running the show. We talked it over and decided we are the smartest and best looking of the bunch so it makes the most sense for us to make all the decisions. Since we are funny, we've decided to "out" those of you who are too rude, too dumb, or too much of a weiner to grace us with a response to the official Evite, even though several opportunities were given. If we don't get a response in any given year, you will be automatically added to the B-list. You can get off of the B-list easily enough; respond to the following year's invitation. If you are enough of a dick to not respond two years running, you are automatically moved to the D-list. That's the Dick list - you are no longer included on any future invites. If you want back in at some point, you'll have to do something really embarrassing - and beneficial to JC and Dave - to be considered. O.K. now that the bullshit is out of the way, this really is all about having fun. It's one long weekend out of our year, and it's here for us to do something great with. YEAH BABY!
