This year we headed to New York City to see the Yankees play the Los Angeles Angels in this last year of Yankee stadium on August 1st 2008. Here are some details:

Notes:

From JC: We didn't make the tour of Yankee Stadium, but what an awesome experience it was just to attend a game there. The weather was perfect and the warm $10 beers went down just fine. We had a great experience in the subway, thanks to some, uh, endearing young ladies who obviously suffered from hearing loss. They made Dutch feel right at home as they invaded his personal space. We bought $40 tickets on Saturday to ride the tour bus so we could see the key sites, right about the time the storms hit. We were forced to drink most of that afternoon at the oldest bar in Manhattan: McSorley's Old Ale House. Kick ass time and atmosphere. By the time we had our fill, the sun was back out and we slowly made our way back to catch the bus tour. Slowly. Our newest member and only recruit this year, Jim, proudly donned the required initiation attire. Mike V sent a text the next day stating he was a bit "foggy". Indeed.
